Allison Gretsuk: I am a visual artist and musician who is also a former student of anthropology. I focused my studies on cultural anthropology of body modification and received my BA in Liberal Arts from Eugene Lang the New School for Liberal arts in a self-designed curriculum studying this topic. My blog is intended to publish and continue this work in a nonacademic setting for others interested in information on the topic. If you are looking for pictures for design ideas or artist recommendations you may not necessarily find that here; but if you are looking to discuss or analyze the subculture or find sources for more information, I hope to supply that through my articles and Works Cited references.
